You hardly ever hear about them. I think I only seen 2 bouts on TV and can't even remember their names or faces. This website is devoted to boxing and there's nothing on women's boxing. The only female boxers that I can recognize are Laila Ali because she's Ali's daughter and Mia St. John because of Playboy magazine.
Why aren't female boxers as popular as male boxers?

1) Because of the lack of knockouts.
2) The lack of recognizable names.
3) Laila Ali's steadfast refusal to fight a worthy adversary.
4) Poor "star-making" matchmaking.
5) The 2 minute rounds create the impression that it's a lesser product than male boxing.Comment

For the same reason you don't watch high school boxers. People want to see the best at any sport.
