We know fighters fight primarily to make money for themselves and family.

However, being that you're the first real HW of Mexican descent, how much of a burden does that place on you to succeed on not only being HW champion, but how you can be looked up to as a role model by young Chicano and Mexican boxers?
Chris: Que onda Gallo Negro...gracias por la pregunta...well yes the money aspect of the game is great I won't lie to you guys, but I take it to heart when I know there are other young men out there who look up to me. Im not going to tell you all a sob story about how I grew up but like many of us in this game I came out of a very poor home and I grew up with some bad people around me and a few good ones...so I know the value of a rolemodel in young kids lives.

What are your thoughts on David Haye, Chris? Would you like to fight him? That would be a brilliant fight.

            But My question is..

I've read that in your teenage years you seemed to have "lost interest" in boxing..what was that about?..and are you an actual fan of the sport and follow and keep up wit it..or is it just a "job" for you?...

Chris: Yes he got me with a good one...hahaha...and I have to be honest it stung a little...but I was never badly hurt. Walker is a tough fighter and he does have some power in those hands...he caught me but I came back strong in that fight and he felt my power too...and well you all know what happened after that!!

Yeah that was the most entertaining heavyweight fight I've seen since Arreola vs. Witherspoon. haha. Damn you f'd that guy up. He didn't know where he was.

                  Good luck to you.

Could you stand up to this power though.

Haye is faster than Walker aswell.

Fair play to Chris for answering the questions. I've seen his last few fights and they were very entertaining. Plus, he seems to be another gentleman of the sport, judging by his interviews. So...much respect to you and hope you go a long way.
