James Kirkland
NAme some Great Pressure Fighters Above 147.

Hate to mention his name after the fun threads from yesterday, But Roberto Duran has to be considered one of the best if not the best pressure fighters of all time. Not only could he cut the ring off and had a great body attack, but as he was coming forward, especially in his prime, he was really hard to hit flush. Its extremely hard to be a pressure fighter with that kind of aggression but still have that great defense.
Edit: noticed he said above 147....So i'll change my answer to a young Mike Tyson inside the first 6 rounds.Last edited by Owlzfan84; 04-01-2009, 12:00 PM.Comment

Today, the best pressure fighter is James Kirkland. He has a "holy ****" effect on opponents with the sort of pressure he applies. I was wearing down just watching him with Julio.
Lamon Brewster, not the quickest guy in the world but **** he makes you work.Comment
