Paul Williams fans = Mayweather Fans

They aren't TRULY Williams fans, but because he's black and the anti Cotto and Margarito, they're riding his nuts. They were no were to be seen when he lost to Quintana, but came out of the woodwork when he won the rematch.

The saddest part of this is these are the same fans who supposedly pride themselves in liking slick, pure boxers and trash other fighters who are mostly offensive (who happen to be hispanic) yet, somehow, they put aside their tastes to nuthug Paul Williams...............a mostly offensive minded fighter?

You would think they would back Chad Dawson seeing as he is a great slick boxer who is very talented and a sure fire future P4P fighter.

My personal favorite models of anti-Floyd proselytizing are

*the one who declares that boxing is better off without Floyd and urges everybody to just forget him, but then makes countless posts and threads about the guy over the next 10 months

and

*the one who focuses his beef specifically on Floyd Stans with reaaaaaaalllllly petty arguments which cut both ways



There are a number who like to promote the crock about Mayweather Jr. Stans being so much more deluded, drastic and offensive than any other group of ****riders here.

He's saying that Floyd Stans used Williams for a strategic advantage in the Holy Stan Wars of 2008, being that Williams was both conveniently black and, crucially, a threat to the 2 names Floyd was supposedly threatened by at 147lb - Margarito (who Williams had already schooled and was chasing for a rematch after Marg's big win last Summer) and Cotto (who Williams was chasing and allegedly being ducked by).

There were about 2, 3 people his theory could have applied to fairly. Which, according to 2501, was enough to induce critical mass within Floyd Standom.


Like I said, pretty flimsy, pathetic, petty ****, like most of the arguments presented in his crusade to prove Floyd Stans to be far and away the most ignorant gang of hooligans on boxingscene.com.

There are fans of Mayweather and Dawson here, btw. Same way there are fans of, sayyyyy, Mayweather and Anthony Peterson.
What Dawson and Peterson have in common is, unlike Williams, they're both divisions removed from the Floyd/Cotto/Marg lurve triangle and the welterweight shakeup in general - so their names haven't been involved in the controversy for your selective eye to even notice.

Pretty much all the people you include in that were Williams boosters even before Floyd's retirement. You're full of cacka, Troofboy, being a bit silly, and seemingly an obnoxious Stan yourself, a Class A Cotto**** hiding it under an insidious pretence at objectivity.


If I thought there was any irony in it, I'd acclaim your abilities as a quality W.U.M. But your demeanour in these disputes has been wracked with constipatedly earnest, "keepin' it real" type posturing the whole way, so I'd guess not.
