hearing what hatton said seems confident. talks about manny getting hit to the chin is irrelevant because we saw what happen to him against floyd jr. which is not a lefty. pac is a natural lefty and more power than jr. talkin about body shots is a factor but i dont see manny staying in front of him to take any shots but if we have cortez as the ref then we will see exactly what happen when rick and floyd went at it.

Floyd and Manny - totally different styles.

Hatton will not make the same mistakes as he did in the Floyd fight.

If Hatton pressures Manny to the ropes - which he will - then Manny will have to take some bodyshots in this fight. As Hatton has stated in this video, Manny is not exactly hard to hit.

true.....but with mannys speed and realizing that if he leads in with his left hatton is gonna feel his power and PROBABLY respect it. yet knowing hatton he comes at you regardless.

Yea Hatton only knows one way, and thats forward constantly. I think they will both respect eachothers power, but I honestly think as Manny hasn't been hit by a guy as big as Hatton, he will feel the effects alot more.

Everyone was buying how confident Hatton sounded prior the Mayweather Fight. and you guys are buying into it again. And i'm a Hitman fan, but I don't see him stopping Pacman. He'll have to fight real low therefore comprimising his footwork. Pac is prepared to dance around him and box around him. I see Ricky getting tagged all night.

btw Pacquiao is not going to stay on the ropes, He'd run all night before he lets that happen and Roach knows this.

I was watching a training video with Roach and he said Manny improved his ability to take a shot to the body.

But we'll see how his frame handles a 140 pound fighter who can punch hard to the body. I'm interested at least. Manny does seem stronger now than ever.

Do you think Hatton could pull this off:

What if when Manny comes flying in with his usual right jab, straight-left, if Hatton steps to his left (to avoid the right jab) and slams Manny with a left-hook to the liver?

Since Manny is a south-paw, he will not be able to hit Hatton with his left either because of the way he is angled coming in.

I can see that happening.. Mayweather Snr and Hatton will be working on alot of defensive techinques for this fight and will be studying the best way to make Manny miss, which is not impossible by any means. If Ricky can make him miss, then Pac leaves himself wide open for the counter and Hatton will deliver some vicious blows when given the chance. As has been said, Manny is not exactly hard to hit and I believe just one hard shot from Hatton will shake Manny's confidence and Hatton will begin to dominate.
