Cotto could have done what Paul did. Land a combination and clinch, instead he'd move for no reason at all. Not alot of people agree but Cotto has good defense, all he has to do is protect himself from the uppercut. The reason why I pick Margarito to beat Cotto in the 1st place, was because Margarito throws alot of uppercuts

Even though Margarito could have possibly been loaded, Cotto was still more then capable of winning

I totally agree. Loaded gloves or not Cotto still could have won and the wrap scandal doesn't excuse the poor gameplan.

Just he ran, but he would have still won if Margarito wasn't following him with plaster. Cotto was scared of the power rightfully so.

I too so that the uppercut was a good weapon for Margarito vs Cotto. The uppercut was what hurt Cotto when he fought Judah and the uppercuts was what helped Margarito beat Antono Diaz. If Cotto clinched against Margarito he would have to watch out for the uppercut when he was coming in and out.

The biggest problem of Cotto aside from margarito loaded gloves was that he kept hitting Margarito face. just because Margarito face was always wide open. What Cotto had to do was look for the body even when Margarito had his face open.He had to work down then up and clinch, but he must still watch the uppercut.

But I really think he would've ran the whole 12 rounds if he wasn't as hurt as he was. Plus Margarito would have been weaker had Cotto been stronger. Plus Margarito would've had to put much more strength on his punches if he didn't had loaded gloves. Margarito was just swinging his hand and letting the plaster do the work.

Its all very simple. Margarito started winning against some good fighters for the first time in his life (Clottey) and so he got very overconfident. He fought against PWill, got ****d, and then thought that if he kept losing fights he was never gonna be good or respected. So, he though, "Holy ****, plaster is preety hard. If I put some of that **** with some burrito sauce in my wraps a punch from me could actually hurt...(and then he went to eat a taco)." And so then he started using plaster, beat Golden Johnson, beat Cintron (although not many people need plaster to beat him), and eventually he beat Cotto. He was like "OMG!I am a champion! People will begin to respect me now!! This plaster thing worked!!! Im so smart!!!" And so he was caught at the Mosley fight and got ass-****d and he's now the disgrace of boxing and Mexico and Taco bell. The end.

In both fights Margarito used plaster. He started late because the plaster didn’t harden yet.
When the plaster got harder, Williams dug deep and fought like a real American champion. With an Iron chin and incredible heart. He didn’t let the late Margarito rally shake him one bit. Williams went on to school Margarito 9-3 with a clinic boxng display in the 12th.

Cotto on the other hand was exposed as exposed can be. Had a great start. But his stamina, chin and mainly his heart let him down. Unfortunately Cotto willingly took two knees for no reason. And signalled his corner to end the figh. Had Cotto has the heart chin and stamina of Williams he would have won that fight.

But heart is something you can’t develop
Quintana exposed PW with no Plaster
