most of his ducking accusations are bull****. He was cut in sparring before his fight with Nosforatu and had to pull out, and the Dracula fight never happened because they couldnt come to even terms on the young girls purse bid.

I will admit that it was fishy that he decided to 'retire' before facing Frankenstein, but you have to remember he had moved up a couple weight classes in the first place. He doesnt HAVE to fight guys the size of Frankenstein when hes a natural Lightweight.

Excellent observations on my boy, Freddy K.

I'm glad you brought up Dracula. The "Trans Terror" (fishnets, anyone?) lulled me to sleep with his predictable hugging style. He clinched so much he made John Ruiz look like Diego Corrales. Not to mention, I hated his ring entrances. All that smoke would get in my eyes and you never knew when one of them bats would take a **** on your head. It was ******. What is this, the WWE?

Don't even get me started on the double standard. Dracula can bite but Tyson can't?

And you know what? Nosferatu ruined Dracula (even though neither could take a punch, really, because they always looked weight-drained). That's a very unpopular thing to say considering Drac is a household name. They fought like 8 times and Nos dished out more than he took. Drac's popularity got him so many undeserving decisions. I'm not even going to get into all the legal problems between those two.

A lot of people felt the Drac and Nos fights were fixed, or at the very least, those rematch clauses made the whole thing very suspect. Fans paid good money to basically see the same fight over and over. My man Freddy, though, was always wicked with the tongue. When asked his thoughts about "Bite of the Century VIII," he retorted, "Ah, those two blood-suckers can have each other. They're just draining the people's wallets. Drac and Nos couldn't beat me in their dreams, much less in the ring."

If I was Freddy, I wouldn't have fought Drac without a blood test either. Dracula's refusal to take one raised quite a few eyebrows about his health status. But the annoying Draculites always accused Freddy of running.

I agree, however, that the Frankenstein fight would have been tough at that stage of Freddy K's career. Frank Bruiser was slow-as-hell and a journeyman, no doubt, but he fought anywhere, including the most faraway hostile places you can imagine. Riots were not uncommon at his fights. His mish-mash style could give anybody problems and he had incredible power (I can't even watch that Jake LaMotta bloodbath again). But with that weight and height advantage, forget it. Freddy was tough and resilient himself, but he kept needing more and more time to recover after those grueling wars he was in.

I've been accused of being a Freddy K nut-hugger before, but I truly believe he has one last big performance left.

    Rematch...?

Mothra's best weight class was 75,000 pounds, he jumped up two weight classed to 90,475 ON THREE WEEKS NOTICE!!! Godzilla gets no love for that win.

Just because he's my avatar doesn't make me a nuthugger, BUUUUUUUUUUUUT

We all know megatron has the hardest right of all time-FACT

That first L he caught to sorry ass Braun was a fluke. Megatron clearly stated that the water he drank after the first round made him feel a little woozy. that's why Braun was able to counter his right in rd 3. After that L megatron was undefeated for 6+ tyears, destroying Sureshot, Jazz, pretty much all the slow ass over-rated nicolai Valuev trained Dinobots. He went 15-0 with Starscream in that time and also won the PFP, Cybertronic and IBO, and NABF titles when he KTFO's Optimus.

First of all, RIP Optimus Prime. A real class act.

Secondly, nobody respects Autobots. They're like Tin Men in the lower weight classes.

Third, Megatron Don's right hand has had so many surgeries, no wonder he has devastating power... it's all that goddamn extra metal inside there, which means half those fights with Starscream should have an asterisk (*) behind them.

But, c'mon man, all Transformers fight like boring robots. You want a robot with soul? Check my sig. Giant Robo is the only robot who truly got the essence of the sweet science. Face it, your Transformer heroes are just product placement fighters, man. They're a sign of the times, bro. Money over substance.

Besides having a hip-hop-sounding name, what else has Megatron accomplished, besides that padded record you're referring to?

There's some work I got to finish, so go ahead and take your time thinking of your answer. I'll be back later to check what you said... that is, if you came up with anything.

Interesting points. Let's get one thing straight. In order to beat or compete with megatron, you gotta be a certified badass ATG. No robot that looks like the Joan rivers robot from Spaceballs is gonna touch him in the ring.

Megatron did make money yes, but he did not do so by picking the easiest fights out there. He fought optimus at his prime, ultramagnus, and rotimus in FOTY candidates. He blew through lesser but solid fighters (except that Braun loss). If there wasn't other ATG's at his weight (except Voltron who notoriously ducked him claiming promotional difference) it's not his fault.

If anything he should be revered for his inring persona and style change to the devastating Galvatron. What not as thuggish, psychopathic, and brutal as his original style, he became more devious, a little more even-headed, and was jus t as ruthless.

Too bad for the ring rust problem which lead to his eventual downfall. Still brings tears to my eyes.

Walt, first off, im a HUGE megatron fan...always respected his tenacity and his resilience and i would have favored him in a Voltron match

however, my only qualm about his career was that he was notoriously called out by Grimlock, the dinobot, and for some reason, Megatron didnt want the fight....we all missed out on that one and that's my only beef with MT

                  • If there is any bs champion from Megatron's heyday it's the guys from the GI Joe stable. Talk about fighting a bunch of tomato cans. Those sissies were ducking Hefty Smurf at minimumweight.

Again, I'm no nuthugger (maybe a little machine crush), but Grimlock was all talk. They were gonna sign a contract to fight but that dumbass got lost. Megatron blasts him out with his right hook. Grimlock kept his little hands too low
