It just isnt hatton... half way through the fight.. he does his little two step bounce and ends up walking straight in.. he loses focus, which is exactly why he got TKOed... he got careless and walked into a left hook..
I just dont see Hatton as having that extra dimension to his game to adjust... I see him getting out gunned, and him trying to make the best of it...
Well if he shows up the way he did against Lazcano, and although he won by UD, he will be lit up by Pac.
His best bet is to come with a game-plan and be able to draw that energy and focused he had against Kostya Tszyu. Given where Kostya Tszyu was at during that time, but not what I'm saying.
If we go by what is going on in training camp from the videos released, Pac looks incredible.
I would like to see what's up with their sparring.
I think it will be a good fight because Hatton will be the stronger bigger man (which is hardly ever the case for him).
I just think that Pac's speed will be too much for Hatton. I see Hatton getting hit with a lot of big shots and I don't think he will hold up very long in this fight. I think his style is taylor made for Pac to be honest.
Doesn't change the fact that Mayweather would beat Pacquiao at 147..
And it's your opinion that Mayweather isn't THAT good at welterweight, but to me and many others, he IS.
Personally, I think he has been on the decline for a few years both Mentally and Physically. His last best days were at 140. At 147, he still did well but not the vintage Floyd Jr. But Floyd was so high up anyway that even if he dropped off some points, he is still an elite fighter.
Not to compare him to SRR, but to make a point, when SRR was past his prime he was still pulling off some big wins.
And even the version that Hatton fought Floyd at, Floyd would beat Pac and Freddie knows it. It's better to keep waiting as long as you can and then try to get him back in the ring.
They are two similar in size and style both like to brawl and be close, i honestly feel Hatton holds every edge over Pac but speed, and is more crafty and can adjust better to situations, such as Mayweather begin able to hold but not him, his usually style. Im telling you Pac will lose, he has to, JMM is better then him and has proved fighting younger and better opposition whereas Pac hasnt and hatton will be the first true test he will no conqueror!
hatton will win, not because he is the better boxer or fighter, but because he is the better grappler.
No need. I watch the fights. I think JMM is a great fighter and is Pac's best win to date.
Hatton, if he is on his game and has improved with Floyd, could still give Pac fits. He just needs to pressure him behind a heavy jab and a straight right...as well as keeping the combinations working to the body and head. Defense tight, move the head. He needs to keep Pac moving back. Pac leaps forwards with his punches; don't allow him.
You can attack Pac or sit back and counter, but you do have to be good. I think Floyd in his prime/at his best could do it either way and win. But Hatton is no Floyd.
I wonder if Hatton can throw a timed left-hook to the head
And Hatton has more then enough footspeed to carry out that plan. I believe Hatton won't give Pac the distance to load up, Pac is an in and out fighter...in this fight, he'll only be fighting in and I believe Hatton > Pac at that
People have said that Pac doesn't just have a 1-2...Honestly, he still does.
Pac's speed and the southpaw style will earn him the victory. Hatton won't bigger than Pac come fight night. Hatton will just be big blob easy target fatman. He won't be able to keep up and gets KOed in 8.
