He may appear passive, but I think that left hand of his is killer enough (i.e. Ray Austin, Rahman) to make me think he'd become a different fighter if someone really tested him from a distance like Vitali would.

If they were on less good terms and badmouthing each other to shreds, I'm sure even the normally calm and collected Wlad could be coerced into a more aggressive match. Perhaps Haye could do just that, providing the fuckin fight gets signed.

And contrary to what pretty much everyone on here seems to think, I don't believe for one moment that Wlad would just stand there being pawed at by his big bro, without retaliating. It'd piss him off enough to unleash that vicious left hook of his - the very best in the biz by far. I'm sure even he's had enough of being called "the lesser brother", which IMO he isn't.

I find it more interesting to lean towards the untried and untested route, hence my intentionally bringing into question Vitali's chin at this late stage of his career. Speculation of the "impossible" is more fun.

But I don't think he likes hitting little bro too hard.

Prime Vitali would defeat prime Wladimir.

But the fight will never happen.

vitali already hinted in an interview if the price is right he would fight wlad. and by price is right he probably means something like 50 million $$$ each which they probably would get in germany

Wlad is the only boxer in history that has a chance to outbox Vitali.

No doubt about that. But it's obvious that Vitali would win if they were to fight. Wladimir has even said Vitali usually wins their sparring 'duels'. I like both the brothers, but one has to be favored.

Anyways, have a good one VB.

Today , no doubt. But history? Not so sure about that.

There have been some amazing fighters over the years. If the going got tough in a Vitali fight, he would have to slug it out. Which I know he would.

This is one thread where all of us have used our heads to decide something. It doesn't happen too often. Or should I say most of us.

Vitali wins by knockout. That's the only outcome I can see.
