And? like I said it's not like Winky just happened to forget his technique and ring smarts over two years. Maybe the layoff will affect his offensive output but not his defensive ability.

And? It was years ago. I would'nt be asking this question about the Winky who fought Taylor.

I think you have to bring more than good defensive abilities against Williams. I don't think a fighter can win a fight blocking 125 punches per round nowadays. A lot of judges base the winner on plain activity and punches thrown instead of accuracy and defense, unfortunately for guys like Wright, Hopkins Etc..

How about we just agree to disagree?

              LOL
Well you were the one who felt like Winky was going to be KO'ed. It seems you're not particularly confident after all.

But more likely his chin. The old saying is that punch resistance is the first to go. Punching power the last.

He has almost no chance of getting stopped. Some of you overrate the **** out of Williams for no good reason. He may actually be outclassed by Winky from minute one. That is more likely then Winky getting koed. Far more likely.

Jermain Taylor punches harder than PW. They had a good active fight that I thought Winky edged out. Winky showed up bloated and out of shape against Hopkins and still didnt take much damage. Solimon threw 1000+ punches and Winky blocked all that **** and outlanded him.

The arguement that PW's power and volume will KO winky is silly.

                      Winky wide UD Paul Williams.
