QUOTE=Ryn0;5000943]Loaded Gloves for Schemling 2? Rumour, no proof. You cannot make assumptions on something with NO proof whatsoever.
--- What do you expect, a notarized statement from those involved? You don't think boxing is f'ing corrupt? You don't think gloves get f'ed with? The boxing mobsters don't leave paper trails. If interested, you can probably google up my past narration dealing with this incident, but I've already put too much effort into my posts only to encounter idiot two word responses from 12 year old ******s, so I'm not going into this again here.
And I bet on Peter to lose, but I did bet on Gomez it was a very small bet but I figured Vitali's injuries would get the better of him this time around because at some point his fragile body (he injuries himself alot) would catch up with him.
Again, the Liston fight rumours again.
---Those fights were phonier than "president" *****'s birth certificate. They interviewed the people who were in attendance. Not one saw the phantom punch. That was only one aspect of their phoniness. I watched those alleged fights in slow motion and commented upon them point by point. Those were just two of Clay-Ali's many fixed fight wins.
Again being the best in the world at this time means almost nothing, Vitali and Wlad are the only two in the world that matter right now. There have always been ups and downs in world class opposition, right now it's down. Ali was dropped by Cooper thats much is true,
--- No - see my post above - he wasn't just dropped by Cooper, he was KO'd by Cooper. When are they going to correct their record books?
but Wlad was dropped by Purrity undoubtedly a much worse fighter it happens.
--- No he wasn't dropped by Purity. He beat the hell out of Purity for 11 rounds and then ran out of gas. He's far better now and has learned to pace himself.
Your "reasons" were that they hadn't been hit in so long, but realistically they hadn't fought anyone world class in terms of all time. I stated their best wins Peter, Sanders are argueably Wlads and Vitali's best wins but they are both out of shape. That must you have to admit.
--- Peter was in the same shape he's always in. Sanders was disappointingly - and incredibly - out of shape for the Vitali fight. Sanders could have been the best of them all...
Alot of these fighters are fat, and a fat fighter will never be as good as one in top condition.[/QUOTE]
