Here's the final round of the Gomez fight. It tells the whole story. The doctor K brothers are now so great they no longer even get punched! It's been years, I think, since either one of them even took a solid punch? What heavyweight champ has ever been able to say that before? What heavyweight champ was ever so totally dominant before?
Gomez had an amateur record in Cuba of 158-12. He had only lost one out of 45 fights as a pro.
what a lackey! ignorant stats.
get your tongue out of the klits asses.
They all sound like a bunch of twelve year olds in the f'ing school yard. Their debating skills go only as far as calling names and crying. I could carry on a more intelligent conversation with a f'ing golden retriever than with these little white boys who hate the K brothers because they don't "trash talk" and don't have f'ing arrest records a mile long and remind them of their mommies and daddies, except their bellies don't hang down over their knees and they have IQ's over 65.
Anyway, as I said, the Doctor K brothers are the nonpareil #1 heavyweight champs in history.
the guy has a point. guys like ali were getting rocked and knocked down by 180 pounders and such. one right hand from wlad would send ali into premature retirement.

foreman didn't land **** on ali. he was trundling forward and swinging wild arm punches at ali's gloves plus the fact that ali used those cheap ropes that gave him an advantage. those ropes don't exist today that let him lean back like 5 feet into the outside of the ring. if vitali caught ali on the ropes (and he would) it would be lights out.

Foreman landed a couple of big punches on Ali which would've probably knocked out lesser men.
Lets not forget that he took it from Shavers, Liston, Norton and Frazier as well.
Shavers said he never hit a man as hard as he hit Ali:
