Pac has without a shadow of a doubt fought the better competition, maybe if floyd had been fighting fighters of the same caliber as marquez, barrera, and morales he would have some close decisions also.

People are forgetting that floyd has arguably lost also against castillo. Even the second fight with castillo was fairly close though floyd clearly won. I get the point about erik 3rd fight he was shot. But the 2nd fight you gotta give manny some credit he made adjustments and ko'd a slightly...and I emphasize SLIGHTLY over the hill erik. I have to say though marquez, and morales are two of the very best fighters of their era and even a slightly past it versions of both fighters are better than anything floyd has fought pound 4 pound, the only fighter that comes close is 34 year old Oscar who although was still very good, I believe he had lost his hunger and his legs looked old in that fight.

So to sum up...I would say manny has fought the better competition mainly down to the big 3. But Floyd has probably accomplished a little more, as of now, but I think a few chapters are still to written in both fighters careers starting may 2nd.

None of this means anything. The same people on here that always bad mouth the organizations are all of the sudden going to place stock in winning their contrived belts?
Mayweather's career has been carefully GUIDED for him to pick up belts as a superficial attempt to raise his profile and marketability while hiding his lack of opposition. Think of when Pac fought Diaz...everybody knew Diaz wasnt a champion other than on paper. But Arum though it would pad his legacy, albeit superficially and made it happen. Now the history books will say Pac was a lightweight champ but we all know thats not true. People that pretend he was are fooling themselves. Only deluded zealots would not be able to see through the manipulation.
Mayweather has similarly picked up trinkets that hold no meaning in order to market himself more impressively.
If he had fought all the real competition out there and only won one belt it would be far more impressive than this gaudy artificial list.

No one. He is the latest ATG that will be remembered forever like Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Duran.. etc. (dont want to go too far back in time)

thing about Pacman compared to Floyd is the Loss column. even though Pacman lost early in his career, the accomplishment of being undefeated along with olympic medals(early in his career) way more than Pacman.

No. Undisputed is what B-Hop, Calzaghe and RJJ did. Have every belt or atleast 4 of them in a division.

if you believe this than you must really think floyd is not going into the hof when he retires.

                    listen
you dont become p4p#1 fighter in the world for 3 straight years fighting nobodies.
if that was the case Joe calzaghe would have be p4p#1 along time ago.

You dont win 3 fighter of the year awards by fighting nobodies
You dont win 6 titles mostly all of them WBC titles by fighting nobodies
You dont defend your title 8 times in one division and 3 times in another division and earning undisputed and lineal title honors by fighting nobodies
You dont get considered the best boxer probably ever at 130 for fighting nobodies

dude take off the hate that's blinding your vision.

                    oh yeah undefeated.
and whoever you want floyd to fight today no matter who it is from 160 on down hasnt accomplish what floyd has accomplish.

11 year pro, 10 years a offical world champion.

like Mayweather himself once said about the closes

Think about person to him in the p4p ranking for the past 3 years

"When he got beat by Morales, I was world champion. When he had that draw, when he knocked [Marquez] down three times in the first round and still got a draw, which means he really took an L, I still was world champion. Before he became champion, I was champion. When he won the belt, I was champion. When he lost the belt, I was champion. When he won it again, I was champion."

Despite his assertions of superiority, Mayweather praises Pacquiao for his tenacity and accomplishments in the ring.

"I love Manny Pacquiao. I love going to watch his fights. I think he's a hell of a fighter. He's an extraordinary fighter."

"Just because you win a couple of fights against Morales, a guy that's been in toe-to-toe battles for over ten years... Boxing puts wear and tear on your body, if it wasn't going to happen with Manny Pacquiao, it was going to happen with somebody else."

"Why are you guys so big on Manny Pacquiao beating Morales when he just got spanked by Zahir Raheem?", Mayweather posed rhetorically in conclusion.

                    Mayweather has had 39 fights!
only 5 fights were above 140!

So where do you think he will be judge at?
