    Comparing Robinson to Williams is not even funny. Have a look at how many times Robinson boxed.

      Sugar Ray Robinson was 30 years old for start. His best weight was really Welter-weight and actually started below that as a pro. I heard he fought Willie Pep in the amateurs as well and won.

      When Ray fought Turpin, it was about his 130+ fight, it was at MW; and Turpin was a good fighter.
      The fight was also during his European tour and he was fighting many matches close together. Something like one fight every week, maybe two weeks for seperation. {I'll have to fact check that later unless someone corrects me}

      Paul Williams, and I do like him, lost to a WW who was taken apart by Cotto {not that Cotto isn't a bad fighter}.
      Williams is also a very large welterweight and started off as a MW and can fight there right now.

      But losses do happen and both Ray and Paul won the rematch by KO.
