I was thinking this also. However, only when he loads up and I don't think he'll be able to load up too frequently in the later rounds as a result of punishment/exhaustion. I realize Hatton has solid stamina but fighting Manny is like climbing Everest. This should be a close fight. I hope it's not decided by Hatton's talent as a grappler.

Obviously Manny is gonna be faster, he's one of the fastest around but Hatton is no slouch, he might not have looked too fast there but it was a media session. There are videos where Ricky looks lvery very fast.

The power that man has is unreal though, those punches look like they come from a light hw! It is going to be a very good close fight, i can't wait!!!

Looks like Ricky is still using 14 oz bag gloves and Manny is using at least 16's if not 18's. Just an observation...

Pacman has such a fluid style his punches just look so smooth and quick, whereas hatton looks more like a brawler (not a bad thing though). Gotta say hatton was throwing some mean looking body shots with his left. One of those and i think we can safely say that round is hattons.

This doesnt really prove anything. Every time you hit the heavy bag you're working on different things. Ricky seemed to be working more on footwork setting up punches and Manny seemed to be working on volume.

I use 14oz Winning. I was gonna get 16's but not much difference and the price goes up by 30 bucks.

I don't think cost is an issue for either of them. I use Grant 16's.
