Nobody should be giving Calzaghe **** for retiring. Does everybody have to fight until 45 like B-Hop now? Hopkins is an age freak like Archie Moore: He shouldn't be the measuring stick. Most fighters reflexes start to slide in their early 30s and when that starts to happen it's safe to say that they're past prime. Most fighters are completely washed up by their late 30s. I guess people expect fighters to hang around long past the point where they can be competive and are just embarresments to what they once were.

I don't think I understand what you mean by that? If you think Lewis looked fresh and in his prime in that fight you are wrong. K thanks

The Momentum was all for Vitali Klitschko. Yes, Lewis won by a technical knock out... but that's a cheap way for anyone to win a fight. Vitali was ahead on all the scorecards, and add to that the fact that Lewis was BOO'd out of the arena.

Yes I think Lewis was afraid of Vitali and he rather retiered than to loose then retire.

exactly , some people just dont get it and think fighters need to keep clearing their division perhaps till into their late 60's !!!!

A technical knockout is a cheap way to win? That's news to me...So I ugess Mosley's technical knockout win over Margarito is cheap?

Just look at the state of his face, he would've gotten knocked out, so I don't know what you're talking about. About the booing, I wouldn't say that, I don't know what you're talking about. Lennox even says so himself:

Lennox had a connect percentage of almost 50%, no doubt had the fight continued Vitali would have quit like he did against Byrd or worse, had permanent eye damage, much respect goes out to Dr. Paul Wallace for stepping up and taking necessary precautions.

Your boy retired like a coward. He has been ducking Vitali for almost 6 years now.
Yea, yea. The grey receding hairline and 43 year old age is all just a illusion to duck Vitali.

Lennox is really a 28 year old, prime HW whos in training constantly but won't come out to fight a guy he already beat 6 years ago on a HORRIBLE cut.

******, Vitali would have quit in the end anyway just like he did against Byrd.
