You point me to one article by any respected boxing writer that said that De La Hoya fought as well against Pac as he did against Mayweather.

I would have voted him fighter of the year as well, that doesn't mean I didn't think DLH looked shot in that fight.

I've seen hundreds of posts on here about that fight, and even the vast majority of Pacquiao's fans admit that De La Hoya looked shot and weight drained in that fight, and that he couldn't possibly have intended to have come into the fight lighter than Pacquiao. That doesn't change the fact that Pac fought a great fight, and that he fully deserved to be voted fighter of the year.
