OFFICIAL POLL: Is Antonio Margarito Done In Boxing?

i think he fights again, but i think the "main event" guys will avoid him like the plague.....i'm certain he never gets a title shot again....and for the cotto haters, sure it wil go down in the history books as a win for Tony....but most of his record will be look as "tainted" for sure...after the "plaster-gate" scandal...thats my 2 cents on the subject.

I tried to vote, but I couldn't pull the trigger since there was no poll.

OK just saw it voted no because he'll probably fight in Mexico or something

For the next year YES. Permanently NO. He can easily climb back to the top if he is relicensed. Only welters that can compete with him are the Clottey's, Cottos and Mosley's of the world.

if he fights in mexico during the suspension, he's done

if he serves the suspension and gets relicensed, his greatest goal would be to make it back to Friday Night Fights on ESPN

sad to say no, he is backed by arum that guy has more pull then anyone in boxing, honestly he deserves jail time, that was a disgraceful act, and he basicly spit in the face of his own fans ,who now have to try to defend him i hope i never see him rewarded with a big money fight again.

He's done. Permaban or not, fans will turn away in protest, and especially if a permaban isn't even on the table after this suspension. Arum is better off seeking a no contest for Cotto to get his 0 back and pushing him to the moon as an apology for his current behavior. I'm completely baffled on why he's not backing his 2nd top fighter, when Margarito was only as popular as he was before Sugar because of the questionable fight with Miguel.

Rashad Holloway should sue the hell out of team Margarito btw.
