Montiel could have fought him at super flyweight for all four titles, Darchinyan doesn't have an obligation to step up in weight again (although he probably will, since the fight would be a draw).

Well I always thought that Montiel never got enough love during his time as champ but Vic is legit. How can he be overrated when he beat the guy who everyone and their mother picked to win. Love him or hate him, Darchinyan is a guy who has earned his strips and our respect. It is too bad he has a scumbag promoter who will not match him up vs Donaire. I would love to see the fight, but would have liked a super unification for all the belts in the lower weight class.

No guarantee Vic gets past Agbeko. Even if he does, he might not be the same. That fight will be war. I think Montiel would UD Vic.
