Still can't beleive how Yorgey beat Ronnie with what looked like relative ease.
Yorgey Knocks Hearns Out in Nine Rounds, Upset

Yorgey has also defeated Vernon Forrest's next opponent, Jason LeHoullier, on ESPN last year.
Although it was scored a MD, it definitely should have been a UD for Yorgey.Comment

damn, that sucks I was hoping he'd develop into a good fighter. But I guess his dad must of had a feeling years ago which is why he made sure he got a good eduction. I believe Ronald got his degree in Criminal Justice, so at least he has something to fall back on.
I'm not sure if this is it for him or not, sometimes losing can help you get better. Or in can ruin your entire career. We'll see what he chooses to do, wish him the best with whatever direction he goes.Comment

I was impressed by Hearns in spots. He could have stunk it out and fought a more cautious fight behind the jab but he let his emotions get the better of him.
With his frame, it's pretty much a given that he's not going to be Jake Lamotta. I think his lack of experience in comparison to Yorgey was the primary difference.
He has a good jab and throws good punches but he just doesn't have the amateur background to get the job done at the top level.Comment

Yorgey is now a recognizable name among boxing fans as a result of this impressive KO win.
He'll probably make better money for his next fight.Comment

i just taught about how hearns came in at 151 pounds at the weigh in maybe that had something to with his performance he should not come in that low he's 6'3Comment

I got to see Yorgey fight live in Nasvhille last year on FNF. I was impressed by him then, and I am now. As my girl and I were about to watch, I said to her "I hope they don't think Yorgey's just going to lay down and let Hearns run him over. I bet he wins it"
I wonder what the odds were on this fight.Comment
