I became a believer in him (not really a fan of his style) after he beat Cotto due to the point that he beat him and i am a Cotto fan but then the news came out about him cheating against mosley and that did it for me.

i like that he is being punished but id like to see him back in the ring and try to redeem himself.......hope floyd fights him someday......

I would honestly like to see him fight again to see what he's got. If he does as much damage as he used to do, then I have no reason to beleive he ever had the chance to use plaster.

The attempted use of plaster was proven in his last fight. And when he failed to do any damage at all to Mosley after connecting numerous times, it's become highly suspected he used it against Cotto, and most likely Cintron as well. If he were consistantly busting fighters up like he did Cotto, and knocking guys out early more often than not, I'd think he was just real heavy handed. That isn't the case. He has mediocre power, and you simply don't turn a guy's face into a hamburger patty with that kind of power. And even with serious ****, you're generally going to knock the guy out before you do as much damage as he did to Cotto, unless the guy has a granite chin, which Cotto does not have. He's been put on his shorts a few times by big punchers, and even by guys who aren't known for their ****, but has never looked that bad before. Why? Plaster, of course. The great power equalizer, used by cheating pricks where-ever they can get away with it. Call your local hardware store for details.

coward? stop hatin ,he grew up rough hes a real warrior..he lost against mosley and? hes not the first good boxer who got beaten and he wont be the last one..he used pflaster,yes it was wrong but that doesnt make him a coward or a scumbag,now tell us how much u achieved in the sport of boxing?

Yeah, it pretty much does make him a scumbag, at least. Coward? Not for me to read what's in another man's heart. But the proven attempt to use loaded gloves against Mosley certainly earns him the title of cheating scumbag, and warrants much more than a 1 year ban, in my opinion. Should've been for life, with heavy fines, and criminal prosecution for attempted assault with a deadly weapon.

I have never liked him, so enjoyed seeing Mosley destroy him and i am savoring every second of him being proven guilty of using plaster.

You've got to be joking. Proves his innocence? Really? The only evidence at all, so far, proves his guilt beyond doubt. The only thing remaining is to find out for sure whether he's used it before, specifically, against Cotto and/or Cintron. It's probably 85% certain he did at this time, taking all things into consideration, and can only get worse. What Tony should do is come clean, admit to every past use of plaster, and beg to be reinstated. Until then, he should remain banned from the sport, along with everyone in his corner, up to, and including, the promoter.

Dont' be absurd, this has nothing to do with being a Cotto fan. The evidence was Cotto's face, and the fact that he was never even actually knocked down except from a body punch. You don't accumulate that kind of damage over 5 or 6 rounds unless you're in with a world class puncher, and you have a rock solid chin. Margarito is NOT a world class puncher, and Cotto's chin is, if anything, a bit fragile. Yes, he always gets up from a knockdown, but he's hittable, and hurtable.

If you think Tony is really innocent, then I'm not the nuthugger in this discussion, pal.
