    JCC Jr. a total waste?

You could say I pretty much buy EVERY single boxing ppv that is available, along with all the HBO and SHOtime matches...

But I absolutely refuse to buy JCC jr.s PPV's...

seems like a mockery of the sport almost to me...

How much is he going to pad his record?

He has shown in his fights that he's got boxing talent, so yea I'd call him a waste at this point. He ain't a club fighter who has to keep fightin chumps, so he should step it up. Surely he's heard enuf criticism of his lack of ambition that it should stir him to step his game up. He's got a name, so guys ranked in his division would surely fight him if he'd go after em. I wanted to see he and Berto make a play to be elite this yr, and Berto seems to be goin for it. Jr's turn now.

to answer your question... YES!!!! he is a waste.... daddy and arum are just pading his record against yet another bum... f this i'm not EVER buying his PPV until he fights someone legitimate... but it's not like he's going anywhere.. look at the JMW division, Kirkland, Angulo, Julio, Dzindziruk, Forrest, paul will, Santos, and sergio martinez, would all punish JCC jr. but they keep insisting on ppv's vs bums

I agree. But since that one time HBO turned down a JCCJR fight arum has said screw them. PLus chavez has a better fan base and following then just about anyone who is not a superstar in this sport. The celaya ppv did great numbers with bearly any advertising so these cards are very profitable for arum.

JCC Jr isnt the only one on the card you know...theres actually some decent matchups, and they show a lot of fights. I think theyre cheaper than usual, like 25 bucks.
Soto and Montiel are fun to watch, and Jr.s fights arent that bad, although hes clearly not the best fighter on the card and only headlines because of his father's name.

its much more worth the money than that Cotto-Pavlik PPV and the awful Roy Jones one.
