Everyone now assumes pre-Mosley that Margarito cheated in almost every fight he had and Margarito/Mayweather was a possible fight prior to that so I'm basically asking would Mayweather have had enough skill to outmanuoevre 'rito despite the latter having loaded gloves.

agree with that, Margarito was nowhere in the first 6 rounds but late on Margarito was literally jogging in on Cotto he just kept coming. I don't think he'd have had a problem with Mayweather's power so might he have won the fight late on especially with loaded gloves? debatable

You can tell at the .30 mark that something is wrong. Cotto came out in the first round standing toe to toe to Marg, he got hit once and backpedaled from there on after, sad Marg would do something like that.
