He just won his title facing one of the toughest contenders around, and went straight for one of the 3 best in the division, Jermaine Taylor. Honestly he could have fought an endless supply of bums off the streets of London, but the man is trying to build a legacy for himself even though he probably will lose, and has a strange obsession with Joe Calzaghe.

I agree that in terms of having balls and wanting to actually be a top fighter instead of being milked for money, he deserves tons of respect. We'll see how much he deserves as a fighter after the Taylor fight.

Beat one of the toughest contenders? Are you kidding me? Jean Pascal? Pascal was never highly regarded around here. Especially when he looked bad against Omar Pittman. It's only till after his war with Froch was when his reputation went back up.

Froch is a good fighter, and I do respect that he made the big fights happen (though it took a while)

However, something about him just doesn't sit right with me. I guess he offends the Calzaghe fanboy in me lol. Plus my dad overrates him something serious

he started relatively late which is why hasn't had many fight but hes had a long amateur background and hasn't been in many wars so hes still quite fresh.

Pascal is not that good at all. Everyone used to think so too. Do you remember after Miranda-Banks? Everyone was saying Edison Miranda would kill him and Pascal was trash. He is not that good.

Robin Reid **** has been played out by everyone nowadays, he's like the new Carl Daniels of the division, a name for contenders.

Froch is pretty good but he's got a lot to prove for sure.
If he can be entertaining, I am all for him challenging anyone and everyone.
