I think he turns into a gate keeper... He'll be a good test for prospects not much else.

probably not, but who cares not everyone can be Sugar Ray Robinson

Edison Miranda usually has entertaining fights, that's all I can ask for as a fan

As a fan of Pantera, I want him to succeed and do well for himself. He is, after all, a very entertaining fighter who’s never been in a dull fight in his life. So, do you think he could ever be an elite super middle or light heavy weight fighter? I don't have allusions that he’ll be an undisputed champions but I think he could win some big fights against some big name fighters. What do you guys think?
If he could punch then he would have been great, but he is a feather fisted fighter, so Im gonna have to say yes.

Miranda is a fan's dream in a lot of ways. If he gets a couple of breaks, who knows, just maybe he can get an alphabet title at 168. I don't want to say "never", because I like the guy too much.

It'd be good to see him get a couple of solid wins under his belt and then a shot at the winner of Froch-Taylor down the line. I know it's unlikely to work out that way, but hey.

He shouldn't have gone back down for a 2nd bite at Abraham. I understand why he wanted it, but it was ill advised.

Well said, and that's why he is still my favorite fighter. He has had too many weight issues during his biggest fights. How much it effected him, who knows. I dont think he would have beaten Abraham at his best at any weight. At 168lbs and up I honestly think he beats Pavlik.

He will make another run. I hear a fight with Andre Ward is in talks for possibly May at 168lbs (elimination bout?). That will be a tough fight. I recently watched a couple of Ward's recent fights and he looks pretty damn good. His chin is still questionable though....

Hopefully if this fight developes it will become an elimination bout to fight the winner of Taylor/Froch. Miranda vs Taylor needs to happen one day! This might be the last chance.

It wouldnt shock me if he picked up a version of the title at some point but i only see him as a good contender with knock out power.

He will never be the top guy in the division though.

He already is. At 168, he would KO a prime Roy in the first round.
