Don't really understand this matchup...Urango is a beltholder at 40 moving up to 47 for what reason? Not like Urango has a big fan base or belt at 47 so why wouldn't Berto fight a legit 47lb fighter? I just don't understand why Berto doesn't fight a ranked Welter instead of a Jr Welter.Comment

The Perfect Practice Style
Juan Urango is built for Berto at this stage in his career. Having just fought a quick, slick southpaw in Collazo; Berto will now be fighting a plodding pressure style southpaw. Urango is slower than Collazo, he gets hit easier and he pushes forward which will line him up with Andre's tendency to throw his strongest punches as counters. Urango has proven to be very durable so even at 147 I don't think Andre can take him out but in terms of technical skills this fight will be pretty one sided.
In terms of picks, Andre has some serious competition at Welter but it's the kind that can topple him. His promoter will probably take his time, space his exposure and line im up for a big money main event by the end of the year. I'm not sure who that would be...Comment

i think this is a good fight for berto hes a pretty small WW himself and at times looks as though he could make 140 if he wanted. so i dont see size being a huge issue in this fight.
berto is a good solid powerful puncher, he has a good right hand and urango being a southpaw is often open for it. i think his team are just moving berto along at a nice pace hes fought some good comp with stevie forbes and collazo on his resume and now they'll be hoping to further his education with a strong powerful southpaw.
urango is a good fighter though i can see him mounting an upset, he has improved alot since his fight with hatton and is very durable and strong.
personaly id like to see urango take on bradley soon.Comment

Berto's got this easy. I'm a little disappointed, this is a step down in class from Collazo to Urango.Comment
