Eddie Chambers vs. Chris Arreola

Povetkin has a heart of a lion, do you not see the pictures I posted? He punched right through Chambers guard. What kind of balls does it take to punch right through someones guard?

Some people just don't understand or appreciate exactly what povetkin brings when he fights. He is the heavyweight version of Juan Manuel marquez to an extent. His array of punches that he uses in a fight you just don't see at this weight. Chambers and Byrd were/are better boxers, but Povetkin is a better fighter, and that is what took him to victory over both. yet Sasha is a much better boxer and an equally good fighter as Cristobal is. The issue would be Arreola touching Povetkin's chin and how it would hold up (because let's face it, Chambers and Byrd buzzed him-not hard punchers) and how Arreola would handle someone who is significantly better than him. I would take Povetkin all the way but Arreola would have a puncher's chance.

Of course Povetkin was going to land if the opponent was doing nothing but blocking and not throwing back. But when Chambers was throwing back, he hurt Povetkin, look at Povetkin's eye after the fight.

I can understand some ppl that vote for Arreola Ko, but UD.. that's just silly. HE will run out of gas before round 8. Soon you will see that Arreola is 2nd "Nigerian Nightmare". Povetkin and Chambers will have way better pro career. Chambers born to be skilles boxer, but he just never works out hard in gym. He isnt 1 of those guys who train for real, which is bad . he coulda be like Chris Byrd.. who knows

Yeah but this thread is about Chambers vs Arreola and I do agree with you Povetkin is the real deal.

Arreola has never had a issue with running out of gas. He is in better shape now than he has been. Throws more punches than chambers and hits harder than peter. Chambers has a slim chance....but it wont be to Arreola running out of gas. Nobody can make that statement without ever witnessing Arreola getting gassed. Also Arreola has had over 200 amateur bouts. so his past is pretty good as well. I respect your opinion but seriously look at this again.

He has a KO in the 8th round and two KO's in the 7th round so if he is knocking out guys that late in 10 round fights I think his stamina is fine.

Mike Tyson only has one KO past the 6th round in his entire career if that tells you anything!

After 6 rounds Tyson never Knocked anyone out. Arreola has knocked out 3 people past the 7th round. That proves he has more stamina.

If the fight went past 6 rounds Tyson lost the fight most of the time.
