I mean of course winning is better than losing, but did it create the illusion in Samuel Peter's mind that he can actually "box" which certainly cost im against Klitschko and even moreso tonight? He didn't unleash a bomb all night.
Was beating Toney 2 times bad for Peter?

Sam Peter beat himself (lol) by not taking this fight seriously. Those extra pounds were fat and made him look sluggish and slower than usual. He also looked spent by the 4th or 5th round.Comment

I actually agree with you about him only beating Toney once, I had Toney winning fight 1.
Yeah his conditioning is certainly a problem also, but he has tried to box 2 boxers in a row now. I mean there was no way he was beating Klitschko, but he could have won tonight, I mean he never threw one bomb to see how Chambers even would have reacted. Not even when things got desperate. I just think for some reason Peter thinks he is a boxer now, and has abandoned what brought him fame to begin with.Comment

Maybe it wasnt the Toney fights, maybe it was the McCline fight, where Peter learned he could be put on his assComment
