Pacquiao easily beats Linares during sparring!

This is according to boxing expert Doug Fischer who replied to my email when I asked him to judge the 4-round sparring session between the two and give the winner of that particular gym war. He wrote, "Pacquiao wins easy, 3 rounds to 1. He could have overwhelmed Linares if hewanted to be mean, but he's not that kind of guy. He got good work in with the kid and the kid landed his share of single clean shots, but Manny was incontrol for most of the session."

Mr. Fischer is one the respected boxing writers around and is currently writing for the boxing website The Ring Online.

            Linares is probably very rusty.

I think if this were an actual scheduled fight, and Linares had a real training camp, Linares would be able to hold his own, even at this point in his career.

You're supposed to lose in sparring, and learn from your mistakes. Beating up sparring partners means you're not working on your weaknesses.
