    JAPAN JAPAN JAPAN JAPAN!!

I'm still loving that guys spelling of the word: peril.

To be fair, I can't help but feel the Japanese have let me down: Where are the flying cars? It's 2009. Jesus Christ. Their ingenuity is overrated.

Do you want the honest answer?

Truthfully - the reason America wasn't choosen is because America has been denouncing European fighters for the last half decade so European boxing has turned its back on mainstream american boxing.

I've said time and time and time again if America doesn't start embracing foreign fighters like we do American and also in turn have American fighters cross the pond to fight over here rather than staying over there & fighting in their own backyard America will loose itys grip on mainstream boxing.

        This has now happened.

I did say this and I'm not disrespecting Americans here so don't take it that way but this is the unfortunate truth. An example would be Taylor's reluctance to fight Froch over here as well as American fans proclaiming "Who's Froch?" & "Froch must come here!" & "Taylor doesn't need to go to Europe!"

These are the reasons. Simply put if you keep telling people they must come to you sooner or later people will find somewhere else to go.

The truly sad part is for every person that reads this post I made & understands it there's another 50 who haven't so the trend will continue much to the annoyance of so many Americans

lol the US would be the worst place to have a fight between an eastern european and a Brit, why on earth would they have it miles away (and several hours of time difference away) from both sets of fans?

americans your combination of ignorance and jingoism never ceases to amaze

Germany is great for money but I honestly think the UK is where it's at.

Those Brits and associated united kingdom people are sports mad and they always root for their man. Look at the kind of numbers Hatton was doing before he was even that big.

I bet a fight would do nicely there as well.

The U.S. is ok for some Vegas fights if HBO is backing them but it's not what it was even as far back as 10 years ago.

The money seems to only go to a few guys here. It seems like it's spread more evenly in Germany etc

MSG would be the only place to have it if it was the US, maybe the Staples Center. No point having it in Vegas, it would just be a good fight that flew under the radar. It would sell out either venue, but the time would have to be adjusted because it would be a big tv fight in Europe. I'd want it to be in the US so I could go to it, but it probably makes more sense having it in Germany.

I'd love it in Wembley though.
