Your right, Floyd Mayweather Sr should definately not be defending against welterweights.

seriously folks, it all about money. hatton is willing to pay floyd the price to train hatton to fight his son. dlh wasn't willing to pay it, hatton is. that's all it is.

Im so glad that Senior said this. I was so scared when there were reports of Jr. coming back to boxing and that he was going to get Sr. to train him. I didnt want Sr. anywhere in the picture. Roger is your trainer and thats it. Im pretty sure that Jr. will not have Sr. in his camp in any kind of capacity now

With regards to Floyd Jr. you can't trust anything Sr. says. Hatton certainly can't take him for granted. Look what happened over Oscar.

                Mayweather Sr.

I agree with Mugwump. Mayweather Sr. probably sold out on Oscar's training secrets when he fought Jr. and if Hatton ever fights Jr., he is going to do the same. Look out Ricky! Blood is thicker than water!

Everyday that goes by I hate Bob Arum and Floyd Sr more and more.... First... Cotto vs Pacman makes more money than PBF v PAC... yea right... maybe in Puerto Rico. Then we get to hear once again from the guy who failed in his attempt to dethrone Sugar Ray Leonard... Floyd is clearly hating on his own son which is a damn shame... He hates on Floyd Jr cuz he is greater now than Sr was in his whole career x3. He never seems to have any issues with Roger because Roger sees him as his nephew and not competition.. Floyd Sr and Jr are constantly competing whether they realize it or not... and its not healthy for their father-son relationship.

I'd rather watch paint dry than to watch a rematch between Floyd and Ricky.

It would be nice to see Floyd Jr. & Sr. working together, however it ain't gonna change the outcome of a potential rematch.

Get Mayweather v Pacman on the cards instead!
