Vinny Paz vs anyone who has some skills and is a natural 168 pounder is not a fair fight. He was so small at the weight, 135 was his best weight. Mundine would have probably beaten him up.

I think you're going to far with it wound't be a fair fight. Vinny wasn't a natrual 168'er but he weren't nowere as bad as you make him out to be.

From 93 (his debut) at the weight from mid 99, Paz had 13 fights at the weight and only lost 2 of them one being to at the time the P4P #1 Roy Jones and the very awkard Herol Grahem who was one of the best not to win a world title and who once pushed a prime Mike McCallum.

And the 11 wins he got included at the time the 28-0 Dana Rosenblatt who he tko'd in 4, the very exprienced Robeto Duran x2 who was on a 7 fight win steak and his last proper defeat (Pat Lawlor was a shoulde injury) was to Ray Leonard, and he also beat former world title challager Robbie sims who was on a 5 fight win streak.

Paz also won the IBO title at SM and challeged for a world title at the weight.

So i think he may have caused Mudine a problem or two as Mudine can be caught slacking and isn't a world beater by now means, and the caliber Paz was used to fighting i don't the man would of been no shock to him.

So think it may have been interesting, and not the mismatch you make it out to be!

I didn't say he was bad, he was a very good fighter....at 135.

Rosenblatt was a good styles matchup for him and was at his best at 160, as evidenced by him weighing at at 162 for their first fight. Rosenblatt wasn't that good to begin with anyway and don't forget that Paz lost to Rosenblatt in their rematch.

Duran was very out of shape and very past his prime when he fought Paz, can't believe he was one fight away from fighting Jones, thank God Paz beat him.

Robbie Sims' prime was in the 80s, again at 160. What Paz achieved at 168 was very good but he never really beat a natural 168 pounder and had trouble with the faster guys at the weight and lost against them, Mundine is a bad styles matchup for him as well as a bad matchup for him physically. Mundine would beat him up.
