People like to ***** at guys for these types of fights, but what's so bad about staying busy? As long as he's in a bigger fight a couple months later, he might as well try to stay fresh.

Look for Forrest to get injured in this fight. Just another way to avoid the fight without backing away.

Shouldn't be on Showtime
I don't begrudge Forrest taking a tuneup but it's a little annoying to see it on Showtime. There are plenty of young up and coming fighters who'd give their left arm for a shot on Showtime. I'd much rather see an Andre Ward or Andre Durrell in a stepup fight. LeHoulier just lost to Harry Joe Yorgey who is a 2nd-tier prospect from PA. This is a total mismatch and should be on one of those internet PPV's that no one buys - or just off-TV period. Al Haymon gets whatever he wants apparently.

I don't think there would be so much complaining about this fight if it weren't for the fact that Martinez won the title eliminator TWO YEARS AGO and Forrest has done everything he can to avoid fighting him. Forrest doesn't deserve a tune-up because he has been given more than enough time to make this Martinez fight happen.
Thing is, I'm not sure Forrest won't outpoint Martinez when they finally meet. So it's ***** ****** to put it off. Neither one of them is getting any younger
