Mavrovic only had one good round against lewis... Other then that Lewis beat the piss out of him. So, I don't know what you mean he gave lewis a tough fight. Hasim Rahman was more in the fight before getting ko'd by lewis then Mavrovic was

I just watched Lewis/Mavrovic the other day.

Mavrovic was tough as hell, had an iron chin and a big heart. He gave Lewis a tough fight.

That was Mavrovic's last fight. He was only 29 years old when he retired.

Anybody know why he retired??

Vitali gave Lewis more of a challenge, though I'm sure ppl will say that is only because Lennox was out of shape and past his prime. Some ppl on here say that Mavrovic would beat vitali prime vs prime... I don't think so

He almost died (not because of the fight) He got Hepatitis or something along those lines and lost a ton of weight and had to have a liver transplant. This is what i've garnered over the years in a very poor effort to figure out what really happened.

LOL Mavrovic was a tough mofo, but he would get outclassed by Vitali.

Mavrovic hurt Lewis a few times in their fight....he wouldn't be able to hurt the iron chinned Vitali.

Prime for Prime....Vitali dominates Mavrovic and stops him in the late rounds.

lol, like the Prime Vitali who lost to the old Lennox. Yeah that Vitali would definitely do better than Lewis is any fight against any fighter.
