Now this puts a lot of pressure on Bob Arum. The justice department confirms that he had plaster, so now we have irrefutable evidence that he conspired to cheat against Mosley.

Now, where does Arum go with this? He was using reasonable doubt until it dried up. So will he continue to support Margarito and how will boxing fans view this? Will they support Arum for supporting a cheater?

He's a business man. It's not good business to keep Marge under Top Rank. I'd be very surprised if Arum continues to promote Marge. He won't get any money by promoting a proven cheater no matter where on earth he goes. No fighter will want to face him, Marge is done period. So he drops him because he can't make any more money and hopes the act will go towards a reconciliation of sorts with Cotto to prevent him from leaving Top Rank. Pretty cut and dry IMO.

Rubbish.

Billy Collins Jnr went the distance with Resto but Resto was banned for life.

Dyani actually beat Mpofu, but Mpofu was banned for life.

A little difference in the Collins Jr. fight. Resto had the padding removed from his glove. Margs had plaster added to his hand wrap which would have been more lethal. The reasoning being when u throw a punch with normal wrapped hands your hand by force opens up some. With plaster of paris it doesnt give as much.

I certainly hope that no one here really believes that this is a tactic that he had just begun using. He was young when he lost like 3 out of his first 5 fights or 2 out of the first 5, whatever. After that though, he goes on this incredible demolition path ko'ng most of the boxers he has fought. This includes Sergio Martinez; let me say that while watching that fight I was amazed at how Martinez was drumming him with crazy amounts of punches the whole time. Margarito only tagged him good in the ko rd- I forget the round number..like 5 I think and Martinez was shook from that. I saw him take several punches from Cintron who is supposed to be a hard puncher and it did not even faze him at all. I would not hesitate to guess that he has been cheating about 95% of his professional career. Look at the one time we know of for certain that he did not cheat..because he was caught before he could cheat and see what happened.

Mosley smacked him silly the entire fight, Margarito looked like a hopeless wreck. He probably had the cheating thing on his mind at that point and was distracted in the ring.

Ban him for life....there are already enough boxers dying from being hurt in legit fights, no need for more due to cheating tactics.

Margarito should take an independent lie detector test a this is not a huge "legal" wrangle...im sure his fans would like the piece of mind that it was his trainer and not him that knew about the wraps...I mean if he knew there should be a life ban for sure.
He seems like a top bloke so if he is genuinley innocent and didint know and the trainers to blame then I hope he pulls through this...if he is proven to be guilty through the lie detector then I can see why guys like Cotto are complaining...they have every right.

He can't fight in Mexico..... I can tell you that!!! We all know Mexicans are not putting up with Bull****. They are really fair fans in Mexico. They BOOH favorites like JCC JR and many others when the outcomes are not right. Marg would get pelted with bottles for sure after this. Mexican fans would feel disrespected and there would be trouble for sure!!!!!
