I would like you to explain to me where you get this information from? When has a Klitschko fight in Germany gone the distance nevermind ended with a controversial decision from the judges? Seriously point it out to me. You will have a **** of a time doing that because there are 0 instances you can point to.
Haye: "Wladimir Klitschko Will Be Easy, Won't Go Six"

The fact that Haye seemed so desperate to fight Wladimir without taking more fights makes me think he was scared of slipping on a banana skin. He'll be dangerous for Klitschko, but Klitschko will play it fairly safe at the start and probably hurt Haye in the 3rd or 4th which will lead to an eventual stoppage in the mid rounds. Haye can obviously hurt him, but I don't think he has the range. I'd say it's about 70-30 in Wlad's favour.
A fit Shannon Briggs at a low weight would have a better chance IMO.Comment

True, but he was a slow, shot fighter who couldn't get past Wlad's jab. Haye is a very mobile, very fast fighter. It won't be another fight like that one.Comment

Where is your evidence that he was desperate? When he moved up he said he was going to fight at least two heavyweights first; but started calling out Wlad immediately, to build up interest in an eventual fight between them. Then after the Barrett fight, it became obvious that both Klitschkos were interested in fighting him straight away. At that point if he'd said "no I'm not ready to fight you yet", he'd have looked like an idiot, so of course he tried to make a fight with them straight away. We'll find out in June whether he bit off more than he could chew or not, but the constant attempt by some Klitschko fans to read the worst possible motives into everything is childish.
The irony is that is Haye really was as bad as some of Wlad's fans pretend he is, then Wlad would deserve no credit for beating him. If you gave him the respect that you want people to give Wlad, you'd get a lot more respect yourself, and so would your favourite fighter, especially if Wlad wins in style.Last edited by Dave Rado; 03-27-2009, 11:31 AM.Comment

Well I'm certainly not a Klitschko fan. I'm also not sold on Haye at all. If Haye had of been serious he would have did his talking in the ring by fighting another decent heavyweight or two. It just seems as though he doesn't really have an interest in being around for very long. Klitschko will still be around for another 3-4 years I imagine, so Haye didn't have to do what he did. It's only going to benefit Klitschko anyway, as Haye will have very little experience of that size and power.Where is your evidence that he was desperate? You may be right about that, but I just don't see any need to be cynical about Haye's motives in the absence of evidence.Comment
