The reason it took this long is probably because King had to consult with his lawyers and whatnot. Correct me if I'm wrong but **** like this doesn't just happen overnight.

This is the one time I've ever agreed with Don King.

I bet it's pretty cold in hell right about now.

About ****ing time Don, the fight was a con job and the result should be overturned. If people just say 'oh well, lets just all move on' then this kind of **** will continue to happen in boxing. Lets resolve it with a rematch in the States, personally though i dont see Khan getting by Prescott if they rematch

Some of you special education people like to ignore the fact that Khan only start dominating when Barrera couldn't even see out one of his eyes. That isn't an excuse it's a fact. And some of you clearly have never had a 3 inch gash on you forehead. He was basically fighting with one eye and a concussion, how nice!!!

where are you people who like to talk smack? Wasn't it a great win for khan to dominate a one eyed fighter with a concussion? Wasn't that great win. How khan had the balls to say he beat a legend when we all know he didn't. Atleast the ones who don't lie to themselves and say khan did beat a legend when he didn't. He didn't a concussion did.

You are wrong.. in sports it tends to happen right afterward, not two weeks afterwards. And no consultation with lawyers is required.

The reasons it took so long were 1) King was trying to find another credible opponent that Barrera might beat to get a title shot and 2) was trying to get a piece of Khan if he moves over to the US for his next couple of fights. My guess is that he failed on both counts. Hence he needs to erase Barerra's loss.

There isn't a prayer of any rematch happening in the US, even if Barerra and King actually want one.. which I seriously doubt. The only money for that fight is in the UK, as it was the first time.

I'm Mexican and I saw it like this,

I picked Kahn to win but I do think the fight should have been a no contest. I mean that's one of the worst cuts I have ever seen. The bleeding couldn't be stopped and it was obviously hindering Barerra.

I'm not mad a t Don King for that but i still picked Kahn to beat Barrera. I do think Barrera was easliy avoiding Khans power punches but wasn't landing anything in return.
