Pacquiao's secret to staying in shape in between fights

I currently train at Wild Card and a few weeks ago before Manny started his training camp for the Hatton fight, I overheard Roach talking to another member at the gym about how Pacquiao stays in shape. Apparently the guy plays nothing but basketball in the off season. 6-8 hours per day.

Well, it came out of Roach's mouth. And 8 hours doesn't mean he plays 8 hours straight. It's much like dedicated street ballers all over America. They go to the court and just stay there all day playing ball on and off. Taking breaks, drinking water, relaxing. I assume Pacquiao does the same. He stays at the courts 6-8 hours, but doesn't mean he's playing the whole time.

playing ball is good for the cardio.

certainly better than shooting pool or playing darts like he use to.

He doesn't do this at all, don't you remember the past 3 or so months? everyday there were reports Pac-man was all over the Philippines attending huge ceremony's and dinners collecting awards and raising awareness for charity's etc. He doesn't have time to spend 6-8 hours a day plus, he has kids as well as having a very strict wife who going of what Freddie roach has said and 24-7 has complete control over him lol and im almost certain she wouldn't allow him to spend so much time away.

Pacquiao does plays basketball ocassionally but not everyday... His body frame is light so it's normal for him to stay in shape..
