If Hatton beats Pacman and whoever afterwards, only then would I want to see him face Mayweather again.

Mayweather at that time could have a tune up or consider Hatton as a tune up for a bigger event.

based on? while I understand in the UK it would probably do similar numbers to their last fight, the US draw wouldn't be as robust as the 875k buys their first fight did.

and to answer the OP's question I agree with most on here in thinking a Hatton fight is very been there done that. It doesn't have the same mystique or aura the first fight had because of how emphatically the first fight ended. Not only that but up until the last two rounds it really wasn't must see action.

if Floyd wanted to take a path of least resistance he could try his hand at taking on the 135lb king JMM at a catchweight then take on Manny at the end of this year.

He doesn't need Ricky even with a victory over Manny.

He wants a Hatton victory over pacquiao may 2nd....At this point at age 32, Floyd cares about legacy and money....if Hatton beats pacquiao, it makes mayweather's victory over Hatton quite impressive on his resume. Plus, he would fight a guy, who he already beat. Floyd can say I want to fight the guy who beat the last 2 p4p kings while I was "away", and floyd sr. adds to the promotional/financial build-up to the fight......and if for some freakish reason he was to lose to Hatton which I dont see happening, no harm done...because at that point hatton would have beaten Pacquiao, and marquez.

This is the only scenario I see Floyd coming back too, it makes sense in evey aspect of the game for him I think....Legacy and Money.....of course this is high speculative on my part.....

whats your guys scenario's at which floyd comes back?
hatton beating pac would be a serious blow to boxing.

nobody wants to see hatton/floyd II.

floyd should fight mosley and cotto.

pac should not fight any WWs.
