Its hypothetical bythe way so...........IF Pac is fortunate enough to win a fifth lineal titl(welterweight) via mosley and Cotto(split decision) without defeating PBF in the process, and BHOP beats adamek in an impressive fashion, in your opinion who is higher in the ATG list? What numbers would they be in your own personal list.thanks
Not sure...working on a list of that sort because I've never paired it down before...IF Pac won the lineal Welter crown (and there isn't one to win right now), after beating Hatton...I don't know. Don't know what wins look like yet.

Pacquiao Aims for Four (and Six)

          Mr. Cliff Rold,

Good day! Are you pretty sure with your facts? You were saying Pacquiao is going for title number 4 or do you mean title number 5? You mentioned that Pacquiao only got 3 lineal weight titles as you respectively mentioned, Flyweight, Featherweight, and Jr. Lightweight. That makes Pacquiao chasing only his 4th lineal title if he gets Ricky Hatton's IBO Junior Welterweight title. But you are all wrong because that would actually make Pacquiao's 5th lineal title weight as he captured 4 lineal titles already which follows:

          WBC Flyweight Champion
          December 4, 1998 – September 17, 1999

          IBF Super Bantamweight Champion
          June 23, 2001 – July 26, 2003

          WBC Super Featherweight Champion
          March 15, 2008 – July 16, 2008

          WBC Lightweight Champion
          June 28, 2008 – February 24, 2009

By this, Pacquiao is actually going for his 5th lineal title claim considering he didn't get any belt from the welterweight match with Oscar De La Hoya because it was not a title match. Please get you facts straight. Thank you.

He's a great fighter but I really don't think he has any claim at winning the lightweight championship. He had one fight in that division and it was against a third tier title holder.

Ugh David Diaz was not the lineal title holder in that division. It was Joel Casamayor and Pacman never fought him so how is that a lineal title???

Hey chief, why don't you hold your breath...all those titles and their strength are the whole point of this.

I love people who don't read and then comment anyways. :

                    Mr. Dex:
See what your fellow poster pistolwhip had to say...the Diaz win was one of the weaker title pick ups in recent memory for a division hopper. About as much of an accomplishment as Mayweather beating Gatti.

I think crold is trying to say that pac had a title at 135 but he wasn't lineal.
