    Flash knockdowns

It amazes me how many people on here defend a loss saying "it was just a lucky punch"... since when has a flash knockdown been a lucky punch.

If a fighter allows himself to be hit by one of these punches he deserves the loss just as much as someone who gets beat for 12 straight rounds.

a loss is a loss, i dont believe ive ever heard someone defend a loss that came via flash knock down

(except maybe zab about his loss to tszyu )

There's no such thing as a "flash knock-out"

Doesn't a Flash Knock Down mean that you get hit, and the next thing you know you're on the canvas, but you're perfectly fine a half a second later, and able to continue?

Tell that to Zab Judah... It might make him feel better.

                  ?

That's what I thought. I've heard of some KO's bein lucky punches, but I never heard the phrase 'flash KO.'

Yea, the one against Hopkins was def a flash, and a bit of a push. You knew Calzaghe was fine, and so did Hopkins. You didnt see him even try to go after Calzaghe after he got up.
