Which amateur phenom is going farther?

Both guys at 154 look really good to me. Which one is going to have the better career in your opinion?

I go with neither. That korean kid that beat the american guy that was reigning world champ the previous year at the olympics really impressed me though.

Right now I'll say Lara, he seems more technically sound than Andrade and is a pretty good athlete himself, Andrade is the better athlete though.

Oh. Excuse me. If i had to pick 1 i would have to with Andrade. I dont think either of the 2 will get all the way up to serious title contender in the pros though.

            Wow...

You don't think either guy will make a serious challenge for a title? That's pretty low expectations.

When you said that whatever about the Korean, I thought you just meant you had higher hopes for the Korean than these two, but you don't see either of these two making a serious run at a title...

Interesting... I'm pretty confident in both, but it's nice to hear an opposing viewpoint.

I mean...I think they'll both amass a pretty good enough record to become highly touted prospects ala Jorge Julio...but 154 is just too convenient of a home for genetically gifted monsters. I think they'll both run into like... a james kirkland type of beast of a fighter before they can crack the elite level of the division. Excuse me if my analogy doesnt make much sense as i've been pretty scatterbrained lately.

It made sense except it is Joel Julio.

I think someone like Lara could take Kirkland... he reminds me of a more aggressive Joel Casamayor.

I'm not sure what to expect from Andrade in the future... but he looks damn good right now.
