Who here already has a glove collection?

Man, I have this nasty bug that has recently hit me. I have this urge to start collecting boxing gloves, just for the f**k of it, just like some of y'all have shoe or sports card collection.

Here's what I'm thinkin', I'll collect all the 14 oz's lace-ups only from all the top brands, their most priciest ones. I think I'm off to a great start, what I have in my arsenal right now is a Winning 16oz velcro, yeah it ain't the lace-ups, but it's good enough, ****, it's expensive enough, even more expensive than the lace-ups. I also have the Grants 16 oz Training glove lace-ups.

Who here has caught this bug?

Uhh well I do have a few pair, but not for the sake of collecting. I started off with 14 oz Everlast Protex2 training gloves. They feel pretty light, and work nice, not lace up, they're the hook and loop(velcro), but they alright. I got my IMF Tech gloves to spar/train with now. They're 18oz. Ideal training gloves. I also got a pair of Grants, left one is signed by Roy Jones, the right is waiting on the signature of Hopkins (waiting on that next press conference boyeee!). I'm looking to get some Grant sparring gloves eventually just for the **** of it, but I wouldn't spar people in my own gym with em, or maybe my coach..

Do you train or are you collecting gloves for your admiration of the sport?

I train, but more for the fitness aspect of it. I still do a few rounds in the ring though. Nah, the whole collecting gloves idea was just a thought out of boredom. But, since all my gloves are 16 oz.'s I'm lookin' to grab some 14 oz, maybe another Winning or Everlast this time.
