Lacks defense in his tougher fights, leaps in, has chin problems against certain fighters. Bruises and cuts during most every fight.

Do those not sound like limitations?

To be fair, I agree that he's limited, he does have a decent jab when he gets it going and he's a solid combination puncher. Also, a pretty good finisher. Stamina is generally pretty good and can survive rough moments when he has to, generally.

true to some degree...and i respect both guys as well...i'm just hoping for hatton victory not because i'm a fan of his but because it would send the boxing world upside down...for at least a month i think people would be thinking whats next?....i think it would be healthy for the sport thats just me....isnt why we like boxing is the unpredictability?

The ones they always label mega fights, almost always fall flat on their faces. At least that's how it's been in recent years. (Oscar/Tito, Oscar/Floyd, Oscar/Pac, Floyd/Ricky)
Yeah, the fights that get a million posts/headlines and articles are always the ones that fail. If the fight was two bums fighting the same fight, and you flipped through the TV, you wouldn't even know the fight was supposed to anything MEGA. Always seems to work that way.

However, thru the last decade, a lot of the most anticipated matches have done quite well.

Cotto/Margarito, Marquez/Pacquaio II, Marquez/Vazquez III stand out from last year alone.

To a degree. Though honestly, when things don't go the way it seems they should, I get annoyed for some reason.

Sometimes, I hate the really skilled guy getting his ass kicked by a guy with FAR less talent.

Sometimes, I agree however, it can be fun. Regardless, Hatton doesn't have FAR less skill, I just think Manny matches and exceeds in most categories.

true, if its a boxing clinic...good night hatton, but i think both guys like to fight, and roach doesnt want pac to fight in this contest...raoch's gameplan from the de la hoya fight was to just keep it a simple boxing match...hatton wants to make this a nasty brutal fight..so will see how it goes
