He made a conscious decision to start working his way back up, and rebuild his reputation.

I applaud him for doing it.

In today's era of spoiled Champions, how many other boxers do you think would be willing to do what he did? And not throw their name around wanting big name fights after a mistake like the one he made?

Guzman is the real deal, soon enough, everybody will be on notice.....again.

Yeah but the problem there is that he is 32... He doesn't have alot of time to make a name for himself and leave a mark on boxing.

he needs to get that ass moving(no ****).

Hopefully he'll be able to land himself a solid showcase after another 2 fights or so. His name really isn't being brought up too much around here because of his decision to start back at the bottom.

But really, I admire that. I don't think you'd ever see a superstar fighter go from being a top name in their division, to a worthy contender in another division, on their own accord.

I know he fucked up, and he's paying for it now.

But everybody else would've most likely been like : "But I'm (insert famous name here)!! I'm a star, I deserve big fights!".

I'm a big fan of Guzman, but I was really disappointed in him for the Campbell weight ****, so i wanted to see him pushed down the ladder a lil bit. By this point, **** it tho. I'm sure he's learned his lesson. there's some excitin fights to be made at LW, and I wanna see Guzman in the title mix again.
