Thats why I dislike Hatton! He doesn't respect the game enough to take care of his body and perfect his craft! We will see him gas in the late rds if it gets that far. When he does we will know why! Lack of professionalism at its finest!

Did FLoyd was about to kiss Hatton in that pic-?
Because he fights in the ring about 153, the last 13 lbs is just water weight, which he could lose in a few days fairly easily.

This only adds to my prediction that Pacquiao will stop Hatton due to cuts and relative damage. Hatton may very well make weight as he always does but he will suffer because of it.

Hatton learned against Mayweather what happens when you don't prepare 100% against an A+ fighter like Pacman is. He will drain himself at the last minute and his skin will be too tight against his cheeks. Pacquiao will probably cut him within the first few rds and from there it will not be good.

I see a bunch of you saying that Ricky is on schedule for the fight given that it is a month away; however I dare to ask what schedule is Pacquiao on? He is already in shpe for the fight and is preparing at peak conditions already. No matter how much Hatton prepares, he will suffer because he will not be at fighting weight until a day or two before the fight. Pacquiao will have had his entire training period to prepare at the weight that he needs to be at where as Hatton will be struggling to make the fighting weight during his whole training period.

This effect will make Manny's speed factor all that more evident as Hatton's conditioning will be like 75-85% as opposed to Manny's 95-100% of his potential. This will become a factor as the fight progresses because Ricky will tire at the high pace of action...remember Mayweather saying that he tired Ricky out before trying to KO him? I like Hatton but for a top notch, A+ fighter like Mayweather or Pacquiao, you can't slack and make the deadline..you must be ahead of your normal routine, way ahead giving 110% as soon as the fight is announced- not a month before the fight!

Hatton deserves to lose if he is still fat. This is the fight of his life and if he ain't taking it seriously then he has noone to blame.

But he does this every fight and so far he's only been stopped once, by a vicious ring post. Williams regained 17 lbs overnight against Margarito, didn't seem to hurt his chin too bad.

Who are you to say he should relax in between bouts?
