    Can't go wrong with LaMotta's "Raging Bull" I'd imagine. Jack Dempsey's "Championship Fighting" is the best boxing book overall though in my opinion.

      Calzaghe's was a total bore. Too much inane stuff about his family... I stopped reading before it got to the boxing stuff (thankfully it was a friend's).

      As for the best, I've yet to read many so maybe some recommendations.

        Any book written by the boxer himself, or with help from the boxer, is GENERALLY lame. here are exceptions, but there is just too much one-sidedness.
