    Let's make some 2009 candidates

Just for our entertainment, Let's make some "Of the year" potential winners.

    Potential Fight of the Year:
    1. Juan Manuel Marquez vs Juan Diaz
    2. Ricky Hatton vs Manny Pacquiao
    3. Jermain Taylor vs Carl Froch
    4. Winky Wright vs Paul Williams(Do not sleep on this fight)
    5. James Kirkland vs Sergiy Dzinzurik*

    Potential Beating of the Year
    1. Sugar Shane Mosley vs Antonio Margartio
    2. Ricky Hatton vs Manny Pacquiao(The Hitman will beat up Pacman)
    3. Kelly Pavlik vs Sergio Mora(Poor Mora)
    4. Wladimir Klitschko vs David Haye(If Wlad brings his A-Game, Haye is in for a long night)
    5. Chad Dawson vs Antonio Tarver II

    Potential Upset of the Year
    1. Ricky Hatton vs Manny Pacquiao(Hatton beating Pacman which will happen)
    2. Sugar Shane Mosley vs Antonio Margarito
    3. Joshua Clottey vs Miguel Cotto(Clottey beating Cotto is an Upset IMO)
    4. Chad Dawson vs Antonio Tarver II(Tarver beating Dawson)
    5. Sergio Mora vs Kelly Pavlik(Sergio KO'ing Pavlik LOL)

Potential Knock Out of The Year
    1. Juan Manuel Marquez vs Juan Diaz
    2. Sugar Shane Mosley vs Antonio Margarito

Potential Comeback Fighter of the Year
    1. Roy Jones Jr(Convincing wins over Lacy and Taylor this year should get him this award)
    2. Kelly Pavlik(After the Hopkins loss, Pavlik seems in doubt, A good win over Abraham can put him back on the map for good)
    3. Ricky Hatton(Hasn't been looked at the same since the Mayweather loss;already the underdog against Pacman, a win over Pacman should get haters to take him serious again)
    4. Antonio Tarver(With a win over Chad Dawson and another Top Lightheavy he can make a case for Comeback of The Year)
    5. Winky Wright(If he TKOs/KOs Paul Williams alone will get him this award. UD'ing Williams and winning against another A class fighter should be enough for the comback of the year after a loss to hopkins and a long lay-off)

Talented Fighters Gone-to-waste of the year award
    1. Ricardo Torres(Has done nothing ever since his 1st round KO loss to Kendall Holt)
    2. Kelly Pavlik(As the reigning Middleweight Champion, If he ends this year without fighting Abraham or at least an a-Class fighter, He can very well win this award)
    3. Mikkel Kessler(Has fought nobodies ever since his loss to Joe Calzaghe)
    4. Joan Guzman(I like Guzman but he needs to fight somebody with a name before he turns 40)
    5. Zab Judah(If he fights and beats Andre Berto then he can be excused)

    What you guys think?

It's actually a good thread I'm just not feeling particularly creative at the moment.
