The sad thing is i need to watch it, Clottey is a beast at ww and as much as Cotto is my favourite boxer i think he has picked maybe too hard a fight so soon after the Margarito loss.

Dont get me wrong if he beats him it will be up there with the Mosley win in my eyes

They replayed this fight a couple of weeks ago on ESPNC, but I saw the fight live on TV and even then I remember thinking how sad it was that this loss was gonna mess up Chico's career badly.

But when you watch it now, it's even more sad knowing that he would die in a motorcycle accident shortly after this bout.

        RIP Diego "Chico" Corrales.

Clottey has developed a really good right straight, very Mayweather like (If you've seen the Clottey vs Judah fight) and honestly, Cotto will have a very hard time if Clottey comes in at 170+

The WW division has been a favourite of mines for a few years now. Clottey has been avoided and i can see the reason why.

As much as it makes me like Cotto more that he has the balls to fight him it also worries me. Only true boxing fans know how big a risk Clottey is.

I agree with you about Cotto not ducking anyone. He is my favourite fighter. But Clottey is a monster. The only way i can see Cotto winning this is on points by using his boxing skills.

After he ran out of gas against Margarito makes me wonder what his stamina is like. (Obviously there is the whole loaded glove debate but i would rather avoid that). Clottey is a monster.

ye he is but cotto is no push-over and if he uses his skills and his staminia holds up which i think it will (clottey desnt bring the same type of pressure as margarito) he will win a UD

I agree. I think Cotto has turned out to be a great boxer.

In the first six rounds against Margarito it was a beautiful boxing display. People just think he is a pressure fighter but infact he is a technically excellent boxer.

Alot of people overlook the Mosley win. He showed just how good a boxer he is.
