If Khan adopts a tight Pattersonesque peek-a-boo guard and fights from distance there's no reason he can't win the fight. Prescott is a vicious puncher, but Khan's boxing skills are greatly superior. It'll be difficult for him, though. He's still only a kid and the temptation will be for him to go in gung-ho and try to put on a show for the fans.

This is where Freddie Roach earns his corn. If he has the slightest doubt over Khan he must be firm and tell him to wait. Amir has the best years of his career ahead of him. There's no sense in throwing them away just for the sake of sating his pride.
